Partnership Development Manager
Reporting to the Associate Dean, Applied Research & Innovation (ARI), the Partnership Development Manager will be responsible for partnership development and client relationship management. This includes networking with stakeholders to identify opportunities for collaborative ARI projects, promoting awareness of college expertise and capacity among industry, organizations and funding agencies, representing ARI at various events, and reporting on partnership activities. The incumbent will also contribute to operationalizing the ARI communications strategy and the creation and implementation of marketing and communications materials. Other duties as required include data collection, management and analysis of partnership metrics. The incumbent will work as part of the ARI team to stimulate and support and institution-wide culture of applied research and innovation by working with students, faculty and industry, community and academic partners.
An undergraduate degree in a related discipline, or a combination of relevant experience is required; a PMP certification or equivalent is preferred. A minimum of three years of partnership development and administrative experience is required. The successful candidate will have the ability to manage multiple competing priorities, provide exceptional customer service, and be able to perform both independently and within a team. The successful candidate will have excellent networking and problem solving skills, strong organizational knowledge, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in a college environment. Travel between the Humber North and Lakeshore campuses, as well as to off-campus events, will be required on a regular basis.
