Service Delivery Model

Each department has an assigned HR Business Partner who works closely with our schools and departments to assist in the delivery of HR services and initiatives providing support in the following ways:

  • Advising on college HR policies, procedures and best practices
  • Interpreting collective agreements
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of best practices to support departments in achieving their strategic priorities (e.g. performance development and management, employee engagement, workforce planning and change management) 
  • Providing coaching advice for addressing employee relations and workplace issues
  • Reviewing organizational structure and providing recommendations for achieving desired outcomes
  • Providing consultation on job design and structure and identifying implications
  • Liaising on your behalf with our Human Rights, Organizational Effectiveness, Health and Safety, HRMS, Payroll, and Compensation and Benefits specialists
