What We Do

  • Conduct frequent review and benchmarking with college and industry best practices related to compensation management to ensure Humber's market competitiveness and internal equity for all staff groups.
  • Provide direction to job evaluation process to ensure consistency in job descriptions and equitable evaluations for all staff.
  • Ensure payroll processing is accurate and on time.
  • Manage the relationship with our benefit partner(s); provide employees with the tools and processes necessary to understanding their benefit plans.
  • Provide information and advice regarding college pension plan and retirement planning, and promote awareness of the value of the pension plan as a tool for attracting and retaining talent in the College system.
